Ginkgo affects the circulatory system improving circulation to the extremeties and the brain. This is all good except for those who are on medications such as coumadin that also affect the circulatory system. Ginkgo taken with Coumadin can trigger serious bleeding. Other herbs that should not be taken with Coumadin: feverfew, garlic, and pau dŽarco.
