This recipe was given to me by a friend who got it
from a book she has lost track of. If anyone knows
the source, please let me know, itīs a great no salt
recipe and the creator should be acknowledged!
3 dried bay leaves, broken up
4 Tablespoons onion powder
4 Tablespoons dried oregano leaves
1 Tablespoon dried lemon zest
4 Teaspoons ground dried savory
4 Teaspoons garlic powder
4 Teaspoons dried basil
4 Teaspoons dried marjoram
2 Teaspoons dried rosemary
1 Teaspoon dried sage
1 Teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 Teaspoon ground black pepper
Grind everything fine, or crush to a coarse powder
with a mortar and pestle. Use in a large-holed shaker,
and store in an airtight container away from heat and light.
Use on salads, sliced tomatoes, meats, eggs, and fish.
